Testimonials

“The Board Internship program is a great opportunity to build into the lives of young people. It is also an investment in the rejuvenation of Boards. Our PeaceWise Board and organisation has certainly learned from the insights and input of our Board intern. It has been a privilege to build into our Board intern intellectually and spiritually towards maturity in Christ and becoming a Board member.”

Jeroen Bruins

Chair, Peacewise

“At Langham Partnership we are delighted to welcome another intern this year having had such a good experience before. Our intern brought his own experience and was a real asset to our Board and I know that he appreciated the mentoring he received. It was a win-win situation and we’re so glad to support this excellent initiative of CMA. We believe that giving young leaders this experience of governance is vital for the futures of organisations like ours.”

Chair, Langham Partnership Australia

A message from The Board Internship

We are so grateful for the partnership of these host organisations, who open their boardroom doors, and proceed to sow into their life as an investment in the future of our whole sector. While there is a clear benefit to having a young leader’s perspective sitting at the table, the main motivation of the host organisations is to see a growing pool of young board members who have some training and real boardroom experience, ready to serve and strengthen ministry boards into the future. The Board Internship can only grow as the number of host organisations grow, so if your organisation is interested in being a partner of this exciting program, please contact us at tbi@theboardinternship.org.au, or download the 2025-26 Host Board Information Pack below.
